Jonathan Davis BA MBA FCII AIFP FPFS, the founder and Managing Director, was the Chairman of the London Region of The Institute of Financial Planning - the primary professional body for financial planners in the UK - during 2005 and 2006.
Jonathan Davis is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (a division of the Chartered Institute of Insurance) – the primary educational body for financial planners in the UK.
He has built up a wealth of experience in financial planning matters over a period of some 20 years.
Jonathan Davis is often asked to comment on financial issues in the media. Appearances include BBC1 10 O'clock News, Panorama, Financial Times, ITV1 Tonight with Sir Trevor McDonald, Channel 4 News, Sky News, BBC Radio 2, Radio 4, Sunday Times etc (see Jonathan Davis in the Media).
We are a small and growing firm. Our team complement is three, advising clients: Jonathan Davis, Managing Director; Phil McLaughlin, Paraplanner (over 20 years in financial services); and Mark Pocock, Administrator / Compliance Officer (over 15 years in financial services). We also intend to recruit a Graduate Trainee Chartered Financial Planner during 2010 to complement our small team and to help us grow. We will be a team of 4 looking after, currently, some 40-50 clients - a very high ratio of staff to clients. We want to provide the best service available.
Jonathan Davis has been in the financial advice world for over 20 years. The service we provide started in early 2004 and the firm of Armstrong Davis (now called Jonathan Davis WM) was established formally in January 2007. Currently, we welcome small numbers of new clients each year. We work with most clients on an ongoing basis, and some we advise on a one-off improvement basis.
